- Bugs fix from Amapi 3D v4.1 to v4.1.5
-
- Gordon surfaces: when a problem due to not connected curves happened, an error message was
- displayed but it was not helpful. Now, when you select the curves, the first set turn red
- and the second one turn green (instead of all white).
- Then, the interface shows the connected points in blue and the not connected ones in yellow
- and proposes possible links: you can decide to modify your drawing or to generate the mesh
- like this.
-
- Error handler: this feature displays an error message when a problem happen and allows to
- save the current file, to leave Amapi and avoid crashes (about 90%)
-
- When a face was not completely displayed on the screen it was not possible to suppress it
- with the Delete faces tool. This is fixed now.
-
- Extrusion problem: a 2nd face was created where the mouse stayed when extruding a face
- from a mesh. Solved problem
-
- Illustrator files on PC: There was some problems when importing Illustrator files (.ai) to
- Amapi 3D on PC. This has been fixed
-
- Problem with the TCL macros: when the users were writing by themselves macrosin TCL
- language and if these macros called windows to input parameters, the windows were not
- displayed on the screen. This problem is fixed now.
-
- Some Amapi 3.0 files (i.e. including lights) were not opened at all or with missing
- objects by Amapi 3D. Solved problem
-
- On Mac, the Amapi to Artlantis exported files were not smoothed, even with the IO Smooth
- option enabled. To avoid this, we had to smooth the objects with a range=1 before exporting
- the files. This is fixed now.
-
- Dialog boxes were validated when pressing on the OK or Cancel buttons instead of when
- releasing the mouse button on them. This has been fixed
-
- When the workplan was changed in a scene, the rendering informations were not updated and
- the rendering was done in a wrong coordinate system. This problem is fixed now.
-
- In a scene when grouped objects were hidden, Amapi saved them without hidden information,
- and when the scene was opened again all the objects were displayed, even the hidden groups. This is fixed now.
-
- When the Tesselate tool was used to add points on a curve, it was not possible to use this
- curve to perform Boolean operation and extrusions from this curve were defective. This has
- been fixed
-
- When using the 3D Line tool with the Bull Eye to extract some curves, if one of them was
- closed, the other was forced to be closed too. Solved problem
-
- View Point tool: when the eye point was selected at the same location than the target
- point, all objects disappeared. This problem is fixed now.
-
- In the Scaling tool, when user clicked on a corner of the bounding box to expand the
- object, the location of the designated corner was "jumping" to the nearest ruler graduation,
- making difficult to be precise with this interactive manipulation. This has been fixed
-
- Crashes (Amapi leaves suddenly) after making "undos" (Ctrl+Z) on objects multi selection.
- This is solved now.
-
- Crashes (Amapi leaves suddenly) after making "undos" (Ctrl+Z) on a welded group of objects.
- This problem is fixed now.
-
- On Mac, the Arrows were missing (pages scrolling) on the materials calalog. This has been
- fixed
-
- When drawing a circle (face view), then setting to a side view and pressing the + key to
- change the number of points, only the centre of the circle remained. Solved problem.
